The biggest issue that I had was that they still used the DSM-IV-TR names for certain diagnoses, regardless of the fact they had changed in the DSM V. For example, they still use the term Gender Identity Disorder rather than only using Gender Dysphoria.
They did not include excoriation disorder, had one sentence about hoarding disorder, classified Gambling Disorder under the impulse control disorders it's under substance-related and addictive disorders in the DSM V and included a criteria for Gambling Disorder that had been removed in the DSM V. While it says that it's updated, it is not fully and accurately updated for the DSM V, which is frustrating as it is supposed to be used as a textbook for new clinicians, who may not be aware of the differences.
Hopefully they will fully update it in the next edition. Even with these errors, however, the book has some useful information and I was still able to gain a broad understanding of the different diagnoses. While I quite enjoyed Psychopathology as a course, I needed sources more recent than 10 years ago for my Masters' paper on Dissociative Identity Disorder.
