Verified Purchase. Very good album with plenty of dope tracks. Beats by preemo, havoc, alchemist and more. Nore and capone have a great balance lyrically as well. After their classic debut in '97, over 3 years later and another stint in jail for Capone and the commercializing of NORE I didn't expect capone-n-noreaga the reunion free download to come back with this much fire. They earned respect from Queens and across the nation with their style of rap. Their song "LA, LA" was a response to the Dogg Pound's "New York, New York" and that made them known as well. When Capone was locked up for a few years, Noreaga decided to go the solo route temporarily until Capone came home. Now the duo from Quuens is back with their second CD "The Reunion". Capone N Noreaga pick up where they left off on the last CD. The only difference is that Tragedy Khadafi who was featured on a few songs on the 1st CD doesn't show up on this one.
The 1st single "Phonetime" has Capone N Noreaga going back and forth about what Nore has been doing since Capone has been locked up and Capone telling Nore what he has been doing since he has been in jail.
The track turns out to be a tight collaboration between the two. Foxy Brown has a little message for Lil Kim on this song but this is the best Foxy Brown has been for a while. Nas sounds like he is back in "Illmatic" form with this verse. Capone N Noreaga have made a tight CD once again. Any hip hop fan in my opinion will like this CD if they like this style of hip hop. Also, check out the intro with Carl Thomas as he does a rendition of Sam Cooke's old song.

It certainly could outshine many a so called hip hop album these days. Capone N Noreaga's first album 's "War Report" is an undenaible hip hop classic!!! Dare I say it it is up there with "Illmatic", capone-n-noreaga the reunion free download, "Ready to Die", "Reasonable Doubt" or "Paid in Full.
The first song on the album "Phonetime" is without a doubt the hottest, the beat is just bananas!!! CNN always dropped them crazy ill NY beats, but lyrically they weren't looked at as capone-n-noreaga the reunion free download. That is the thing, we listen to CNN for the hotness, not the lyrical aspect.
In actuality, NORE established himself with his off kilter and comedic rhyme style, where Pone dropped good and very decent street verse. This album is far from a "War Report 2" but it has its moments. Tatsächlich wurden hier Capone's Rhymes via Telefon aus dem Gefängnis aufgenommen, das Ganze ist aufgezogen wie ein Gespräch mit Nore, sehr cool, noch dazu über einen dazu passend düsteren Beat.
Noreaga macht hier einen etwas besseren Job als Capone, aber das ist bei den beiden ja an der Tagesordnung. DJ Premier's einmaligen Sound hört man bei "Invincible" sofort heraus, großartige Produktion, bei der man nicht lange brauch, um reinzukommen, dazu ein Dream Team wie CNN - cream!
Sehr erwähnenswert wäre auch die Kollabo "Bang Bang" zusammen mit Foxy Capone-n-noreaga the reunion free download. The Alchemist ist hierfür verantwortlich und zimmerte ein solch derbes Brett, das einem immer wieder die Schuhe auszieht, sobald man die Anlage aufdreht.
Düster, unheimlich und hart, eben genau, wie man sich Musik aus den New Yorker Ghettos vorstellt. Lediglich auf Foxy hätte man verzichten können, den die hat bei weitem nicht die Klasse der Jungs. Die zweite beginnt ähnlich stark, wie die vorherige Endete. Die wohl größte Aufmerksamkeit von "The Reunion" dürfte auf "B EZ" fallen, was daran liegt, dass QB's bekanntester Sohn mit von der Partie ist.
Leider ist der Beat hier "nur" gelungen und nicht der Banger, den man erwartet. Insgesamt jedoch eine Nummer, mit der man zufrieden sein. Einen kompletten Stilbruch dagegen erlebt man mit "Gunz In The Air", das auf treibende, sehr elektronische Party Beats setzt, was ordentlich pumpt und besonders Noreaga mit schnellen und bissigen Raps zu Höchstleistung trimmt.
Auch die Damenwelt kommt bei CNN nicht so kurz und so kommen wir in Genuss einer Art Lovesong mit "Full Sleezy", bei dem Capone die Hauptrolle spielt. Insgesamt ganz nett für Zwischendurch, doch kein wirkliches Highlight. Deutlich besser wäre da "Queens Finest" zusammen mit Mobb Deep. Leider ist der Rest ab hier nicht mehr so gelungen, "You Can't Kill Me" nervt sogar etwas, was an dem langweiligen Instrumental, aber auch an Capone's doch sehr einzigartiger Stimme liegt, was hier eher ein Nachteil ist.
Auch die letzten beiden Tracks "Don't Know Nobody" und "Hey Y'All" wirken eher wie Filler, die noch schnell mit auf die Platte gepresst wurden, um die 20 Tracks voll zu bekommen, auch die zahlreichen Gäste lassen einen darüber nicht hinwegsehen, tatsächlich macht es jedoch nur wenig aus, da man zu vor ja einiges an gelungenem Material zu hören bekommen hat. Leider fehlt es etwas an absoluten Bomben, dafür bekommt man solide, leider nicht sehr abwechslungsreiche Kost geboten.
Leider hielt dieses Glück nicht lange an, da Capone schon kurz darauf wieder in den Bau musste und seine Solo Karriere auch nie so wirklich ins Rollen kam. Nore dagegen wurde bei Def Jam zum Star, verkaufte sich jedoch an die Pop Rap Szene, was vielen Fans übel aufgestoßen ist und man satte 8 Jahre warten musste, bis mit "Channel 10" endlich wieder ein überzeugendes Werk der Marke CNN in den Läden stand.
